Pearl Harbour Open Day, Ardmore

9 December 2012

Something of a dearth of photographs on my behalf over the last couple of months. Blame work!

Finally got out with the camera today.  Happily, Ardmore turned on the summer weather for the Warbirds’ Pearl Harbour Open Day.

Star attraction was the De Havilland Mosquito–ably supported by a multitude of other performers. Thanks again to the Warbirds–and the aircraft’s owner–for letting her out to entertain us. I understand her last public outing Down Under will be at Masterton at Wings over Wairarapa in January (18th-20th).

Had a nice chat to the TV One reporter covering the day–an airshow first-timer, he seemed to be getting quite a kick out of the experience!

Mosquito images first up. Remainer in a day or two.
